My Goals 4 this week

My goal in maths this week is to rename fractions as decimals

The steps i need to take are:

• Use the decipipes to help me to find out what the fraction mean in decimals.


• Video clip my self using the decipipes to work out the fraction into decimals.


• Rename fractions as decimals by doing them into my maths group.

My Goals in reading is to learn about and use personificationand alliteration

The steps i need to take are

Do a poster about what they are about and use for.

Look them up in the dictonary and find out what they mean and maybe do a little E.g to both of those meaning.

Focus towards learning and I might be able to find out some information.

hey was so cool today i had tech i finished making my bag and today i learnt about personification and alliteration and in reading today was awsome i nearly finish my book got 20 pagies o go and my goal for reading is to complete my book b4 wednesday 25 of august.......

Today was so cool the year 9s and 10s had sports options we all done indoor netball my team was the most gangstered team ive in since i started st andrews middle school... we won against all the other team that weve played.... In my group was me, kathy, jayden, jahn, tera, sharay, and lastly tyler..... we were so good and fast the other team didnt even get a goal because of our good defenders jayden and tera we also had good as shooters they didnt miss a goal only far distance but we manger to get over 20 goals... The shooters was me and sharay YEAHHHH i know its hard to beleive but its trueee..... I am captain for my team cause they wanted me to..... that was my good day that i had with my class and the year 10s...... cool hi miss edwards hahahahahaha

Today was so shame for me because i was and in mufftiy because we had opening evening and miss thompson told us to wear our uniform at 5 oclock cause that when it started also i learnt heaps when i had to take people around i had to be kind an respectful to the {manuhuri} visitors.....

today we had Miss Thompson we were learning about 1st person and 3rdperson............. i have 4got what it means but yeah i did sound cool.. Miss Thompson choose a couple of students to do a tour guide tomorrow night and im nervous because i dont know what to say but thats why im writing it all on a paper so i can remember....

Thursday 13 august

today was so dam because at lunch we were playing ball tigger and only me bayleigh and my friend iesha but it bstarted getting funner and funner and then after the bell rang i ws doing my reading goals my was to read 2000 words a day and i achieved it.

yesterday we had miss thompson and we were learning about similes,metaphors and personification i was cool because basicly everyone was on task and after school we had net ball practice..... but we didnt cause we throught it was thursday so me iesha and maria and storm and shanice was hanging out at school for their parent to pick them up

Tuesday 10th of august

Today is math week and as a class we have been doing a quiz which the whole class was invole in if your class come first you get 20 if your 2nd you get 10 and the other classs i think.. but it doesnt look like we are winning.

Monday!!!

Today we went to tech and i sewed and made a bag it was cool. My bag is the colour pink and blue, that by next week i should be finished and i will be taking it to town or every where i go with my friends and family...... i was so tied today because i had to stay up all night just to put my little cousin asleep on sunday.... on monday morning i had to get up early to make my cousins lunchs thats 7 + me = 8 which takes me a half an hour to make them.... and if you see me in class i might be sick or very tied

Today for maths a lady came in and talked about fractions we had a couple of games and quizz so fun and funny.......... After school we have got net-ball practice but it got cancel because my aunty was sick but on saturday we have a 100% that we know that we are going to win...

Wednesday 4th of August

Today I went to sports options with the year 9s and 10s it was so cool because i had a gangster team im my team was: Meh..., Kathy,Jahn,Storm,Jayden,Telia,Tyler........ The other team didnt even get a goal so yeah...!!! WOW i think we just one Because i was in there team.. next time we are facing the teachers in 2 weeks time..................

Tuesday 3rd of august

Today i was in the office work because the lady wasnt here today. and i was doing a job for Miss Edwards i had to elemonant some maori words and cut so they can be display on our class..

Monday 2nd of august

This is a new month to start fresh so today we had tech and im in sowing and i learnt how to do measurements on my bag so next week i can start sowing my bag..

My Goals.

MATHS: I am working towards this goal by knowing and learning how to do my fractions on my own. my next step would be using the fraction equipment to help know what is larger than the other.

READING: I am working towards my goal by reading more than 2000 words a day. also know what adverbs are and how to use them in sentences.

WRITING: I have acheivied my goal by knowing how to do newsboard which was easy for me to do in different language {MAORI}
